As someone who is new to makeup and with so much information out there. It is nice to find a list which I can use as a foundation as I continue to advance my make up skills. are there any tutorials that I could watch that would help me with my technique?
Hi Brittany, As you get started, you may find you need a bit of trial and error to find the products and looks that work best for you. There are lots of wonderful tutorials on youtube, so I’d recommend that you try search terms that are specific to your needs (skin tone, skin condition, other concerns /issues) to help you find detailed tutorials. In general, you want to start with a good skincare routine (cleanse, moisturize / SPF), which will provide a good “base” to help your experiments with makeup (foundations, eye looks, etc). If you are near a Sephora store (or something similar), then I’d highly recommend you schedule an appointment to let a professional do your makeup and give you some specific tips and product recommendations. Sephora is also great because they offer free returns, so you won’t have to be stuck with products that don’t work for you. Here is more information about the services they offer: Sephora Beauty Services
Good luck with the hunt! Warm Regards, Alyce
